I chose different types of Twitter accounts to follow that I thought would be beneficial to elementary education. I am following several professionals and organizations that focus on literacy education because they provide resources, advice, information on how students learn to read, and other content related to this PLN. I am also following several people that provide free printables for teachers to use for morning work, decorating the classroom, and other documents. My favorite Twitter account that I followed is “We Are Teachers” because it includes a lot of very interesting and helpful articles about various teaching topics. I decided that it would also be a good idea for me to follow a few accounts about Autism because it is always important for educators to learn about new strategies to accommodate students with Autism in the classroom. I think these tweets will be a valuable asset to my future classroom and hope that they are also helpful to you!
